Me encontraba yo en Barcelona degustando un cigarrillo y caminando por el muy conocido y ameno paseo de gracia… estaba completamente distraído por las tiendas de moda, bares, restaurantes y la arquitectura de este bello sitio

Todas estas distracciones me llevaron al descuido y casi sin percatarme cuando finalicé de fumar mi cigarrillo hice un suave movimiento para depositarlo en el suelo (quiero aclarar que nunca tiro basura, cuido la luz, el agua y reciclo, pero las colillas es inevitable tirarlas)

No había pasado ni 10 segundos cuando llego a mis oídos ese perturbador sonido que aun me atormenta cada vez que fumo, ¡una sirena de policía! Rápidamente descendieron de un vehiculo no identificado como patrulla dos “mossos d’esquadra” y sin dar explicaciones me pidieron mis documentos. Fue tan impresionante y desconcertante la rápida reacción del cuerpo policial barcelonés que no pude si quiera objetar y mostré mis documentos lanzando lo que pensé seria mi única escapatoria “pero ¿Qué hice?”

La respuesta fue corta y tajante “tirar una colilla” no hubo más conversación y camine con ellos hacia el vehiculo donde me darían mi multa, comenzaron a teclear en la pequeña maquina y muy pronto comenzó a imprimir una multa que por el largo que tenia sabia que no seria nada amable con mi cuenta bancaria.

Los dos “mossos d’esquadra” me entregaron la multa, me devolvieron mi identificación y se fueron, cuando decidí revisar la cantidad que ahora le adeudaba al gobierno de la “Generalitat”, no pude más que reír y prometerme a mi mismo el ingreso a un programa para dejar de fumar.

La multa ascendía a 180 euros, me otorgaron un descuento por pronto pago que la redujo a 125 euros, como ya se imaginan mi intento de dejar de fumar falló pero algo sí aprendí, nunca pero nunca más tiraré una colilla de cigarro delante a las autoridades de Barcelona.
